The Last Stand was initially a mod for the original Left 4 Dead game before eventually migrating to the sequel. Fascinatingly, it was developed by fans but got officially greenlit and distributed by Valve. The Last Stand DLC released back in September 2020 after, bringing a brand new story campaign along with many other new additions.
That’s quite fortunate timing to update the title, especially considering that the game was treated to the first content DLC in 8 years only a few months ago. Left 4 Dead 2 is finally being uncensored in Germany after spending more than a decade lacking the signature gore and violence in the region.
